ESG

Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Sustainability

Sustainability and circularity are integral to Neometals. Our processing solutions are focused on the global clean energy transition through the recycling and recovery of critical materials from high-value waste streams. These technologies help optimise finite resources to benefit society and the environment for a sustainable future.

The pillars of our sustainability strategy: Environmental Care, People, Community Benefit and Ethics & Accountability continue to guide our approach and the relationships we have with our stakeholders.

Values

Our six core values underpin all the Company’s activities and are reflected in the acronym S.T.R.I.D.E.

Sustainability – Committing to optimise finite resources with circular practices to benefit society and the environment for a sustainable future.

Transparency – Acting ethically with honesty, transparency and openness in all that we do.

Respect – Respecting our company, its purpose and its values and acting respectfully in our dealings with staff, shareholders, partners, stakeholders and the community.

Innovation – Applying innovation and an enquiring approach to our work to better assure the achievement of our purpose.

Discipline – Applying discipline and rigour to our work to better manage risks and assure outcomes.

Ethics – Through our conduct earning and honouring the trust of one another, our shareholders, our partners, our stakeholders and the community.

Sustainability Framework

At a governance level, Neometals’ sustainability framework is underpinned by our Risk & Sustainability Committee, our Economic, Environmental, Social and Governance (EESG) Policy, our Company Values and sustainability pillars. The framework provides strategic oversight of our projects and guides the consideration of key material sustainability risks and opportunities.

Material topics are assessed on a regular basis and detailed in our annual Sustainability Report.

Neometals discloses sustainability information in reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). We have proudly committed to the UN Global Compact principles and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals since 2020.
